I was cleaning my engine compartment as I do from time to time and I noticed a disconnected wire that comes from just behind the battery:

2 wires coming out of the relay on the fenderwell to some type

of capacitor which a black wire comes out of.

The black wire looks like it should connect to the coil (negative side)

The coil on the negative side has a spade terminal with three connections.

The middle spade terminal has nothing connected to it and the mystery black wire looks like it is the exact length to hook up to the open spade terminal on the negative side. I am fearful of hooking this up.

The only electrical type problem I have is related to my intermittent wipers and wiper motor shut off.

Don Foster sent me a relay for the wiper mortor in the mail to try to see if that was my problem... but that didn't fix it.

I'd be really psyched if this disconnected wire fixed my problem but I'm not willing to take a chance on hooking up this wire without some definitive guidance.
