Check Valve Integral to Fuel Pump? 200 93

Does anyone know if the fuel pump check valve is integral to the main fuel pump? I.E., if I just buy a new fuel pump will I be getting a new check valve? I'm having trouble finding a good picture and the daylight/time to crawl under there and look.

I'm just going down the list suggested by the FAQ on my hard cold starting problem and I'm thinking do I really want to put a $35 check valve (only available from the dealer as far as I can tell - that explains the high price) onto a fuel pump with 180,000 miles on it?? When I can replace the whole thing for about $180 and save myself a tow someday when the fuel pump dies.
