Blowing Fuse for Left Side Tail and Parking Lights 200 1990

Hello fellow Brick Owners:

I recently developed a electrical problem. My left side lights (tail and front amber) fuse keeps blowing. The first time I replaced it with a fuse from my rear "extra" tail lights to get home without the escort of the local law. Ran fine this way for a few weeks. Then that fuse finally blew. Replaced with a brand new fuse from IPD two days ago and then this morning, on the way to work, the fuse blew again.

I'm going to put another fuse in to see how long it last but at some point, my stash of fuses will run out.

Any ideas where to start looking for the problem. Must be a short somewhere that is over juicing that circuit. I'm not an electrical engineer so should I just by fuses by the gross or should I bypass the fuse?

The fuse is the 8 amp variety. Light bulbs are fine and sockets appear to be clean.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,

Ed
