Radio Amp. location and ?'s 900 1993

Where is that amplifier? Can a CD Changer be attached via standard RCA cables, or do I need to buy a seperate patch cord? I've got a 1994 vintage Alpine 6 disc Changer I want to install. Appreciate all replies!
