just looking for why my dashlights dont work and took the rheostat out for a looksee. What on earth are all those electronics doing in what should be a small and simple unit? Can I just cut the blue wire and the white wire and run a wire from the cigarette lighter straight onto the back of the dash blue and the dash white for a full on effect or will this fry the bulbs? whilst I locate the source of the fault.
