Well, I'm cobbling together a water injection system for my '91 780, and so far the project has gone very well. Spent $7 for misting nozzles and tubing, $10 for a washer pump, $5 for a reservoir, $8 for a brass 3-way adjustable aquarium style valve, $3 for a simple check valve, and $5 for a short piece of 2" flexible hose (inserted the misters into the hose then swapped the hose in place of the stock one just after the intercooler), and I'm all done EXCEPT for a way to turn on the whole system. I want it to activate at around 5-8 PSI of boost, so I need a Hobbs switch. I checked Advance, Auto Zone, Napa, and Radio Shack to no avail. Does anyone out there have a source, preferably with a part number and maybe even a price? It would be nice to think I'd slapped this whole thing together for under $70, I'm only at $40 or so now! I've got some pictures if anyone is interested.... email me.
