Did the 94 940 come with a factory alarm? 900 1994

Hello guys,

I'm still getting to know my 940 and I noticed that on the bunch of keys that came with the car there is an 2 button alarm fob on it. So I was playin around and noticed that when I press button 1 the parking lights would flash twice, press again and it flashes once. I didn't hear a chirp and besides the flash nothing else happend. I looked around the engine bay for a siren or something and there isn't one. So this brings me here, did this car come with a factory alarm? if it did is it supposed to chirp or make some sort of noise, should it be connected to the horn purhaps? Thanks for all the help guys.
