Greetings from Cleveland, the city that refuses to give up on basketball. I'm in a quandry relative to tires for the California Special. My heart sez get a nice set of aftermarket wheels and tires to go with them for "the look" and my wallet reminds me that the money would be better spent getting tires to fit the stock rims, and add some killer hubcaps. My dear wife seems to be siding with Mr. Wallet so it's the tire/hubcap combo for now. We've talked about this before, and I've taken notes, but, in light of the fact that the local Firestone is in competition with the local Sears for my tire business, four decent tires for $99 is the deal! Query: which of the following is the correct radial replacement for the car...205/75 R 15, or 215/75 R 15 assuming that these tires are going to be mounted on the stock rims? I have conflicting notes from past inquiries and don't want to buy anything too wide (seems that 215 is too wide a footprint, but what do I know?). Thanks again, as always for your help.
