Overdrive & cruise control out at sametime on a manual 200 1985

I have a 240 85 wagon and I noticed that the when ever overdrive isn't working the cruise control seems to be not working. Most times if one is out the other is out. However, sometimes OD doesn't work and but cruise control does and vice versa. Has anyone had this problem? Also is there an overdrive relay between the switch and OD solenoid? And yes I have checked the fuses and hoses on the Cruise control.
