My 89 740 Turbo has a strange little quirk. When driving along at highway speeds and I let off the gas the engine will come back to about 1500 RPMs and then surges to 1700 RPMs or so and back down to 14-1500 RPMs back and forth for several cycles before it finally stabilizes. Any ideas on what to check out?
