Have an '81 244GL Australian production Volvo with B23E 3 spd auto which has had GT dash cluster fitted by previous owner.
Am having electrical problems with varying charge of new battery, multimeter says alternator is OK but sometimes dash voltmeter acts eractically and battery is sometimes low charge (headlights dim, stereo speakers "drum" when turning off ignition).
Have rewired engine loom up to firewall after finding decomposing wires around alternator and behind/under injection, but think I have an intermittent dead short under the dash somewhere. Don't have the bucks to let an autospark figure it out.
Does anyone have a scan of the correct wiring diagram for Aussie/European model? Can't locate a manual here for aussie model.
