Another Intermittent Brake Pedal Drop 200 1992

I read the other thread and am not sure how much of the responses apply to me. My brake pedal drops occasionally (less than 10 percent of the time) when I am backing up and braking, maybe hit a small bump, and I feel a drop or clunk through the pedal. I thought it was something loose but I will look at evaluating the master cylinder. What else should I look at?
