Why won't my car run!!! Argh! 700 1990

It wouldn't start the other day in the grocery store parking lot. I can hear the fuel pump cycle when I turn the key on. I do not have any spark. I swaped in a new coil/powerstage unit ($143! ouch)and nothing, I replaced the flywheel position sensor/ enging speed sensor. Nothing. I'm getting confused here, can someone give me a little guidance? I really don't want to have this thing towed to the dealer... Thanks!
