Another flame trap/rear seal question. 200 92

I've learned a lot from searching/reading past posts on the subject of leaking rear seals and cleaning the flame trap. I tried the "jiggle test", and I failed. Miserably. So I took my car to the dealership for a scheduled oil change, and to have the flame trap cleaned. I had looked at the flame trap myself, and it looked clean to me, but the oil separator (attached to the engine block) did not. I could not for the life of me figure out how to get to the damn thing (I have A/C) so I had the dealership do it. I don't know if they actually cleaned the oil separator or not, but now when I first start the car, I pass the jiggle test, and then after I drive it for a while (25miles) I fail the test. What's going on? I'm assuming that since I pass the test at first, they DID clean the oil separator, but as I have seen mentioned elsewhere on the board, the dealership did NOT clean the little hose that comes off of the flame trap. My next goal is to try and get the little booger off w/out breaking it (it looks pretty well connected).

Any info on this much discussed topic is greatly appreciated.

Thanks to all who reply,

Seth
