Genuine Volvo Brand Coolant 900 1995

My '95 960 has green antifreeze in it's reservoir, and it needs a little topping off. Isn't Genuine Volvo Brand blue? Is there any reason I shouldn't top it off with my favorite (I.E. the cheapest I can find) brand?
