Leak from vent? 1800 1968

When washing my car last night I noticed that there was water standing in the cavity under the vent cowl between the hood and windshield. When I made a left turn water poured into the passenger side floorboard, presumably from there. Ok... there must be a drain for that thing somewhere... before I knock my brains out trying to find it, can someone give me some advice?
