Stupid brake light! 700 87

I don't even know where to start looking for this:

On a wagon, passenger side brake lamp does not work. (tried everything new bulb, cleaning, (both balanced bulbs)). No rear passenger light.

What does happen is the front passenger parking lamp comes on when I hit the brakes?
