Hello all,
I know that I am probably opening a can of worms here, but I need to ask. I am picking up the 1800 from the paint shop today (pictures to be posted soon) and my thoughts are now turning to the interior part of the restoration. Being that I am 6' 3" I really would like some neck protection in the form of headrests. The interior will remain black, and I would like to find a suitable pair of front seats that don't cost a fortune. I know that 240 seats don't fit well, but I have heard that 740 or 960 seats might fit better. I really don't want to do any major customizing but I do know that I will have to do some to get non-stock seats bolted in. I would also like to get seats that won't make you regret long trips.
Has anyone out there upgraded their seats with something that has headrests and looks "right" in an 1800?
Thanks.....
Keep cool cars rollin'
Oliver
