FI system fuel pressure gauges - first question ALL ALL

Will I need to get one labeled as specific for the Bosch FI systems - period - or isn't that necessary, meaning just any old kit will do?

ALSO, will I have to get special adapters/fittings for testing Volvos? For that matter, will I be able to test any car without special adapters/fittings?
