tach installation 200 1991

I have a 91 240 auto and the car came without a tachometer. Well I replaced the stereo in the car and the stereo has a clock on it so there is no need for the analog clock on the gauge cluster. I purchased a tach on the internet and now I need to remove the analog clock and install the tach. Has anyone ever done this and remember the steps to do so? Any instructions would be beneficial. Thanks everyone.
