Advice for an aspiring 240 owner 200

Hi everyone,

Sorry if this question is a little rudimentary - I've got my heart set on buying a 240 wagon and driving it cross-country, and I was hoping for some advice... My budget tops out at about $7k - what is the best model to get for that kind of money? should I hold out for a 92 or 93 with the ABS and airbag standard, or go for an older car in better shape (maybe in my budget the choice is already made)? Also, is there an upper limit to mileage that I shouldn't go over? (I know that Volvo mileage isn't quite the same as that of other cars). Finally, how hard is it to find a manual-transmission 240? I have a bit of a bias toward stick-shifts.

Thanks very much for your help - and your patience with a rookie :)
