Oxygen sensor-generic available? 700 1989

Anyone know if I can use a generic Bosch three wire sensor on my 1989 740 GL non turbo, Bosch injection system? I know with VW/Audi a $40 aftermarket sensor will work in place of the dealers $200 one! It uses a Bosch #13034. Any advice appreciated.
