B230FT head exhaust manifold studs. 700 88

I need to buy exhaust studs and nuts for my project engine (B23FT with B230FT head). For high performance and possibly a lot of swapping manifolds and such (heavy duty), what are the best studs to get? Should I re-tap for larger studs? I could do that. What material or grade? What source? Is Volvo the best choice in this case? Please advise,
