Yep, my kit came through with the wrong-size clamps too. I also found the instructions to be pretty skimpy. For example, the forward hanger which supports the section of pipe where the old resonator used to be can be configured any number of ways. It took me awhile to figure out which way works best. IPD could help with a clearer picture of the system as installed.

The quality of materials is excellent. The sound is great. However, some wagon owners find it a little loud on long trips. I note a slight improvement in performance, but that might be because it sounds so much better.

Overall, for the few extra dollars over the cost of the standard system,

I like it. Watch out for the section of pipe running from the catalytic

converter back to the IPD system though. It's a real chore to cut pipe and

patch new pieces together while crawling around on your back under the car

If I had it to do over again, I'd have that part of the job done by my

independent mechanic who would put her up on a lift and do it right.
