Dreaded Butt Rot 200 1985 245Ti

After disassembling my "seat" (the driver's) and messing with the support, I'm depressed.

The spring grid was not good and it was missing the front two springs. I fixed the grid and rigged two new springs and I stuffed a hunk of blue insulite and a piece of industrial carpet between the grid and the foam.

Still the front edge of the seat is not firm and the lower cushion has definite lean to the port side. I had noticed a nice sprinkling of foam cake crumbs on the carpet.

Darn it. I can not ignore my embarressing butt rot any more.

Does Volvo sell proper replacement foam? (The leather is in great shape) Just what are my options here?
