Well guys after many years of good service the alternator finally had it. I would like to rebuilt the unit, but I am having problems locating a supplier with Bosch parts. I rebuilt a unit with some cheap parts for a friend but it only lasted 2 years the bronze or copper ring where the brushes run went out quickly. I am hoping the staying with the Bosch parts would extend the replacemt time. The car also belongs to my mother and want to keep the cost to a minimun.
