Throttle Body Clean... 2000 rpm Idle (doh!) 700 88

First of all.. Please don't laugh loud enough for me to hear it where I'm sitting.. I have been reading the posts for quite some time on cleaning the Throttle body.. I cleaned the throttle body today without removing the unit itself.. Figured that this would be affective without my personal murphy's law acting up had I taken the piece off. I know that the t/b has not been cleaned for two years, and about 40,000 ml. Pretty much like I expected with the varnish and stuff.. Well, I remember awhile back a post much like this one, but could not locate it in the archives. Now I have a clean throttle body and a 2000 rpm Idle.. I tried screwing the set screw (black) all the way in to lower the idle, however that only lowered the speed to 1750 or so, also the Idle line seems to be properly adjusted with just a little slack to the wire... What to do from here?? Is my timing advanced too far from PO compensating for the rough/iratic Idle when the t/b was clogged.. I do not have a timing light, so hopefully my last statement isn't the problem.. Thanks in advance for any comments/suggestions..
