Warped Brake Rotors II 200 1987

I had my good mechanic do the test for me and the rotors are warped, but the left inner tie rod is worn and playing too. I have replaced tie rod ends and the rack boots so I am no stranger to this territory, but haven't a clue about how to go about the inner tie rod. Haynes is no help and neither is Chiltons (Chiltons??!!). The parts will be here by Friday, can anybody give me pointer or on this. I'll nuke it out alone otherwise.
