My car is a 1977 244 B21E K-jet. When i start the engine cold, i have to push the accelerator 50% to get it running, or else i can crank it for minutes without starting. When it is running, the idle is stumbling. The idle sounds the same whether the engine is cold or hot(It used to be smooth as a babybottom). I think the car is a bit slow and sluggish, but then again it is a volvo. Isn't the fuelpumps supposed to run several seconds before the engine starts when i turn the ignition to position 2? I thought so, but they dont. They are functional when the engine is running. I have tried to do some fixing, but it doesnt seem to help. Changed injectionvalve seals, plugs and wires, ignition timing, fuelfilter and tried other relays(used ones from my parts car, maybe i should try new ones?). Could a faulty controlpressure regulator cause this trouble? I do need all help i can get(help keeping my sweedish tank away from the scrapyard).
