Re: Windshield washer check valve 700

I've repaired several with a piece of polyethylene cut from a ziploc freezer bag. Some last longer than others, but usually 6 months to a year or until I get aggravated enough to go to a dealer. Then the replacement lasts 8 months or so.

It helps to install an inline filter before the washer pressure valve.

The reason the thing squirts all over the engine bay is the little hole in the red cap.

Once I eliminated the pressure valve entirely with a T.....the squirters just leak all over the hood and dribble after using them....you can't, ummmm, 'shake' them after use .
