The hose from my brake booster to the intake manifold cracked on me today after I had trimmed of an end and reattached it a few days ago. I suddenly had a very poor idle and lost power brakes while parking. Almost ran the turbo wheels smack into the curb. All for a $1 hose. It was really rotting away underneath while it looked solid to the eye. Check yours out. Get 3/8 inch ID fuel line or something heat and bend resistant.
