Re: rear bushings(how tough is it?) 200 88

Well, for the big TABs you will need to buy ($200) or rent the Volvo tool, then have access to a shop press ($100-150)or a honking big bench vice for the 8 smaller bushings. You will also need a bunch of patience and stubborness and a good shampoo and beer when you are done. The problem is that the tools are probably not worth buying for one car or even two. The TABs go first, then torque rod bushings (4) then one end of the panhard, maybe. On my cars the front bushing on the trailer arm looked fine. Then don't forget that there are 6 more bushings on the front of the car that might go eventually. I would have a look, then buy the ones you need. I have four of them so I invested. If you live near Mr. Clunkless get him to help. I hear he likes this work.
