Craig, I did not build a tool as such, I just used some stuff I had on hand. I don't remember exact sizes, but basically it goes as follows. Remove trailing arm. Run a piece of fine-thread rod thru bushing and fit with a large socket that will fit against bushing yet fit thru "ears" that hold bushing to axle. IMPORTANT-You must fit some sort of spacer between your ears during this operation to keep from distorting them. I used a block of hardwood cut to fit, but you can improvise as needed. Hey this whole deal is about improvisation, right??? Next fit another large socket over other end of bushing, install washer and nut on threaded rod, get out your wrench and start turning. You could use any threaded rod, but large diameter fine thread will give you more advantage. Also remember to use a little oil heare and there on moving parts. Could use large pipe or what have you, just needs to be large enough for bushing to be able to move inside as it is pulled from the ears on axle. Installation is pretty much same deal in reverse, just use a little anti-sieze where appropriate. No fancy tools, just blood, sweat and tears! David
