...but I won't complain!
I had a bad (rusted out) rear muffler on my 245 that was making a helluva racket...drove around with it for two weeks until I was able to take it in and have a new muffler put on.
Nothing strange about that, but...I noticed that my fuel economy has gone up since the new muffler was put on. I was getting about 23-24mpg with mostly highway driving before, and on my last two tanks (w/new muff.) I've hit almost 28mpg (27.4 and 27.6mpg).
Coincidence?
Why would a muffler do that??
