fuel tank capacity & mpg? 170 mile a day commuter 200 1980

What size fuel tank does my 1980 242 DL automatic have? What kind of fuel mileage will I get for all freeway, flat, and 65 mph? I am getting it set up for a 170 mile a day commute. Any advise for spare parts would be appreciated. I have used a 1963 Chevy pickup, a 1976 Mercedes diesel, and soon retiring a 1988 VW Fox. The 2000 Ford F150 stays home because I want to make it back home.
