annoying seatbelt buzzer 200 1981

Can anyone direct me how to disconnect the screeching seatbelt buzzer on my 1981 244DL (with 177k mi)? Mechanics at my local dealership won't do it ... perhaps they're not supposed to. But I'm willing to take the risk! Thanks, everyone.
