Hi Michael

I think you will find that the diaphram servo for the heater box has split. if you pull down the lower dash trim above the pedal`s and look up at the heater box, there are two servo`s one has two vacuum line`s going to it, the other only has one, the two line servo is the most common one to fail, it can be replaced insitue but it is not easy. you can confirm which servo is leaking by pinching off the vacuum line`s one by one till the hiss stops. good luck....
