Headlights out on 88' 240 200 1988

One night while driving down the road, my interior and instrument panel lights went out. I flipped the light switch on and off a couple times and they came back on. A few days later, the same thing happened, only this time, flipping the light switch on and off didn't help. The funny thing is, the interior and instrument panel lights come on when the switch is in the parking light position, but not in the normal light position. Later that week, I turned the lights on, and nothing happened, not even the normal headlights came on. Again, in the parking light position, the parking lights and interior lights work, but not even the tail lights or headlights work with the switch in the normal light position. However, I am able to run my front and rear fog lights when the switch is in the normal headlight position, and I can turn the BRIGHTS on by pulling back the turn signal switch, but when I let go of the switch, the BRIGHTS go off like they would if the light switch was off. I checked the fuses in the driver's side kick panel, and they all looked good. If there is any information anyone could give me about this issue, I would definitely appreciate it.
