In spite of the fact that I have rebuilt the head, installed an intercooler, got a new control pressure regulator, and replaced the injector gaskets, my turbo now thinks she can ask for a starter.

How, exactly, does one remove the starter. I mean, I understand the simple part: remove the nuts. My socket won't fit and neither will my adjustable wrench. What do I need? Will a regular wrench work? (I'll have to buy one.) Will a box end work? (I'll have to buy one of those, too.)
