When my tranny mount was on the way out, the car would pop out of 4th gear. I did not know what was causing the "popping out" at the time. Was gonna get it checked out. A few days later the mount completely went on me, and it was obvious what was wrong. I had the mount replaced, and all was cured, including the popping-out-of-gear problem. Good luck!
