I discovered the right one broke at the back side last weekend on my road trip, and now it'll just vary between the regular open/close or vent/close positions (depending on its mood ...)

Repairable with common household products? Are the rails interchangable throughout the years? Just pondering, as I'd like to know before I go junkyard plucking ...
