I read General Bain's message about the A/C repair on his 960 and installation of a VOV (variable orifice valve). I thought to myself, "What in the heck is a VOV?," so I decided to take a look at the Nartron Corp. WWW page and their "smart VOV."
Sounds good, but I have to admit that when it comes to auto air conditioning, I know very little, so the technical terms are confusing. Can anyone please explain, in layman's terms, how this device works?
Is this product available for the 200 series? Does installation require recharging the system?
Also, how many millions of dollars do these things cost? Very little info. is provided on the Nartron page. Can anyone verify that their A/C blows "5-12 degrees cooler" after installation?
TIA!
