Fuel and Temp Gauges 700 1988

I just purchased a 1988 760 GLE with a V6.

The fuel gauge is always at empty and the temp gauge always read about 1/4 from cold, regardless of the engines temp.

I have pulled the cluster and checked to make sure that all of the connection plugged in.

Can anyone give me some trouble shooting steps.
