Towing a 900 lb boat 240-260 84

What experience does anyone have with towing such a load? I have a 240 GL.

Does anyone know the recommended towing capacity for an automatic. What about

the newer series 760-850? Would they be any better for towing? Any responses

or experiences would be appreciated.
