painting body sidemouldings and a roof rack 700 92

I would like to paint the body side mouldings on my '92 745 wagon to match the red of the body just as the newer models are. Has anyone done this with good results? I just recoated the rear bumper to new and it looks fantastic.

I'd also like to use a body colored roof rails as the newer models do as well. Any ideas here? Any after market kits that look right?
