i have a 262c with a b21 4sp/od driveline. occasionaly it acts as though something is binding up in the drive train. usually in starting out in 1st gear or when downshifting to first. the car doesn't actually shudder, it feels more like it is trying to jump out of gear or disengage somehow. it is an intermittent problem and difficult to describe. what are the symptoms of a failing carrier bearing? any thoughts?
