Alright!! New power lock installed, but......... 200 87

Hello board-

I just installed a new power lock motor in my wagon hatch. I took the old one apart and found that it had broken gears in it. Well, the new one is installed but it's not pulling the lock over far enough. I have to turn it slightly to lock it, but it unlocks fine. I'm guessing I need to adjust something a little so it locks completely. What do I do? Thanks.
