Re: SLICK 50 engine treatment. 240-260 82

ICQ>

Steve;

Within the last year or so Consumer Reports did a study on Slick 50. The test was a side by side study in that it ran two cars for 50,000 miles each, one had Slick 50, the other had regular oil. The engines were then broken down after the test and all critical parts were measured, i.e. valves, rings, cylinder walls, etc. There was no difference between the two types of oil.

I have removed my Slick 50 sticker from my window, and no longer feel confident that my engine will continue to run if I run out of oil.

I have recently recieved in the mail a certificate of some sort as a result of some sort of class action lawsuit on the behalf of Slick 50 users, a certificate that is good for Quaker State products.

On the other hand I did have cooler readings and higher revs. Do do dee da, do do de da...
