A/C Expansion Valve coiling trick??? 200

Hola bricksters:

Wow! Is it hot here in south Texas. I've just had 2 cans of R12 added to my 89 240's A/C system, making it barely cool inside the car. I'd remembered someone mentioning a trick about coiling the two tubes of the expansion valve in a particular pattern to increase cooling ability, but no particular directions were given. Anyone know of this trick?? Gracias,Genaro.
