master cylinder bad? 200 1986

Hello All:

I just replaced my rear calipers and discs and am now having a terrible time trying to bleed the brakes. No matter what I do, air bubbles are in the line, and I've gone through way too much brake fluid.

When I press on the brake pedal, I do see some bubbles in the reservoir over the master cylinder. Does this mean my master cylinder is leaking?

Is there something really obvious I'm overlooking?

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks.

(By the way, I discovered a great way of removing a rusted-on disc, which wasn't mentioned in the FAQ. Slide a chisel into the hole in the disc, and whack it with a hammer. Came right off.)
